Reanimation
Proposing that cinema is a mother of zombies as it re-animates the dead, this is a performance in which Lavatelli directs a film shoot across media where the technologies of video and film operate in tension to capture both Affection-Images, that being the re-animation process in close up, and Action-Images, that being the famous zombie walk that staggers through time and space, in an echo of the moving image’s constant play with our perception.
